Volunteering with FAP
One of Africa's newest struggles for liberation: Cameroon's Anglophone crisis, which emerged from legal and education grievances in 2016, rapidly escalated into a secessionist political conflict that is threatening the unity of the country, with potential to degenerate into a complex emergency.
As the crisis in the Anglophone regions continued unabated for the sixth year, over 712,000 people were internally displaced in the Anglophone regions and in the Francophone Littoral, West, and Centre regions as of August 2021, and at least 2.2 million people were in need of humanitarian aid.
In the safe zones out of the conflicts areas where internal Displaced persons are hosted, the is a high need for livelihood improvement opportunities and health situations. There exist a lot of malnourished children in most host communities especially the marginalized indigenous Mbororo communities.
FAP will need volunteers who have passion in humanitarian services especially on developing project proposal for funding livelihood and health initiatives in the Internal displaced persons especially the marginalized indigenous Mbororo communities. FAP will also need volunteers in medical fields especially Nurses and doctors to assist these IDPs in Health Centers within the host communities.
We equally need volunteer for environmental projects to fight against climate change and deforestation in forest communities we are working in.
